VOYA Games, a blockchain gaming studio, has raised $5 million in a funding round led by 1kx and Makers Fund, with participation from RockawayX and prominent angel investors including Sky Mavis co-founder Jeff Zirlin and The Sandbox COO Sebastien Borget.

The capital will fuel development of Craft World, a casual resource management game featuring NFT items set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans coexist with dinosaurs. "Our goal is to build a token ecosystem where games are connected through a shared player economy and culture," said CEO Oliver Loffler.

The investment underscores growing institutional interest in web3 gaming infrastructure, particularly projects bridging digital asset interoperability with mainstream gaming mechanics.
